As some of you may know, I am currently !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! 298 racetracks, and then ranking them 1 to 298. The way I am doing it is tricky and flawed, as it is predominately based off of numbers. I want to know your favorite tracks.
Rank your opinion of the best five or ten racetracks in a comment, if you have an experience driving at one definitely tell me about it!
My top 5 favorites without knowledge of in depth research because I just began are:
1. Spa-Francorchamps
2. Mount Panorama (Bathurst)
3. Suzuka
4. Nurburgring Nordshleife
5. Guia Street Circuit (Macau Grand Prix)
6. Circuit De La Sarthe (Lemans)
7. Circuit Of The Americas
8. Hockenheimring (this is the one that always gets people, I must be crazy for liking the redesign)
9. Sonoma (Infineon, Sears Point)
10. Road Atlanta

Thanks! I don’t really like Barcelona that much because it doesn’t seem to flow to me, I don’t like the addition of the chicane, and in my eyes it’s a minimal overtaking, better to be a Formula 1 test circuit. What do you like about it?

It’s a good test of both power and handling for a road car.

I can agree with you on that one

Easy. The one I get to drive on ( in real life).

The best and only best track is Belle Isle.
Because before the damn state police took it over (a year ago) it was free rein to use at your discretion, in the colder half of the year. It was amazeballs .... and I also crashed out there twice. So theres that.

In no particular order:
Meadowdale International Raceway (long closed to racing, pavement/layout still exists)
Montjuic Park Circuit (still public roads, no longer hosts racing)
Ingliston Racing Circuit
Mugello Circuit
Original Kyalami Circuit
Hockenheim, I actually like both layouts but really wish the Original layout existed....
Riverside International Raceway (gone ~30 years)
Original Osterreichring
Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace / Interlagos
Original Silverstone
Original Spa-Francorchamps

The only one I’ve ever actually driven on is Monticello in NY State. It was awesome. It’s also not on your list.

(I’ve also driven the old street course at Watkins Glen, as well as the Formula One-of-these-days course in Weehawken, NJ. Site of the 2028 New Jorksey Grand Prix).

What original SIlverstone are you speaking of? The one that just added arena or the one with hay bale walls?

This one:
It just hit me that it’s not the “original” original layout (the one that went up & down the runways), technically the second layout but the first one used by the World Driver’s Championship and the most-known “original” layout.

I’ll reduce it to 3:
1) PittRace. The full combined course is arguably the best in the Northeast. 3 miles long with huuuuuge elevation changes, fast turns, slow turns, and several places for unavoidable wheelies. Plus the people that run it are great and currently investing in it. You can take a car or bike on the main track, kart or mini-bike on the Wilson circuit, and auto cross in the big “Dynamics Area”.
2) Summit Point. It’s not really anything special, but it is fast, and fun, with a loooooong straight.
3) VIR. Personally never had as much fun there as the other two, but it still deserves a mention.

Le Mans
The ‘Ring
Monza
Mt. Panorama

Underrated 10:
